The People

Simply Macedonia is the vision of Stuart Palmer, the Managing Director of Aplus Management Consulting Ltd. Stuart has been visiting Macedonia since early 2001 and has visited the capital, Skopje, on over 50 occasions. During this time he has seen many changes and believes that the time is now right for Macedonia to get back on the British tourist’s agenda. He has visited many of the heritage sites around Macedonia and has direct experience of the valuable work being performed. He is also aware of just how much still needs to be done to re-capture some of that lost heritage. Stuart is ably assisted by his wife Sue, and a team of dedicated people in Macedonia.

Sue Palmer is a qualified interior designer as well as experienced accounts executive. Stuart jokes that her role is more than “making the accounts look good”. In fact Sue has been to Skopje on nine occasions and she too, has seen the city develop. Sue plays an important role in tour and brochure design, customer liaison and usually has the final say on many key business issues.

Margarita Ivanova is Simply Macedonia’s contracts and administration officer. Margarita is our direct link to all of our Macedonian suppliers;  hotels, restaurants and travel companies and conducts negotiations on behalf of the company. Margarita has direct experience of organising and delivering tours to Macedonia and is involved in other marketing and tourist related projects.

Simply Macedonia only uses registered tour guides for the conduct of its tours, thus ensuring our customers get the best information available and the quality of service they deserve.
